On July 31, 2025 Disciplinary Anti-Doping Committee of RAA RUSADA (DADC of RUSADA) rendered the decision that made athlete Kucherenko (Polyakova) Alina (athletics) whose sample returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for metenolone and its metabolite (class S1.1 of the 2024 WADA Prohibited List) ineligible for 4 years for violation under cl. 4.1 (Presence of a Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers in an Athlete’s Sample) and cl. 4.2 (Use or Attempted Use by an Athlete of a Prohibited Substance or a Prohibited Method) of the All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules starting on the date of the decision, with credit for the served period of provisional suspension, namely from June 24, 2024. Meanwhile the DADC of RUSADA found that the athlete did not violate cl. 4.5 (Tampering or Attempted Tampering with any Part of Doping Control) of the Rules. RUSADA did not agree with this part of decision and filed an appeal to the National Center of Sport Arbitration.

On March 11, 2026 having reviewed RUSADA evidence of the violation, the National Center of Sport Arbitration confirmed tampering and set aside the decision of the DADC of RUSADA of July 31, 2025 in recognizing the Athlete as not having violated cl. 4.5 of the Rules. The Athlete was recognized to have submitted the falsified medical documents to affect results management or the imposition of consequences and was sanctioned with a 4-year period of ineligibility starting on June 24, 2028.
