RUSADA draws your attention that, according to the comments to Article 2.10 of the World Anti-Doping Code, athletes and other persons must not work with coaches, trainers, physicians or other athlete support personnel who are ineligible on account of an anti-doping rule violation or who have been criminally convicted or professionally disciplined in relation to doping. Violation of this requirement may result in imposing ineligibility of up to 2 years..
On August 31, 2026 the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS, Lausanne, Switzerland) delivered an arbitral award related to violation under cl. 4.1 (Presence of a Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers in an Athlete’s Sample) of the All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules by athlete Lysenin Nikita (Nordic Combined) whose sample returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for tuaminoheptane (class S6b of 2025 WADA Prohibited List).
