RUSADA draws your attention that, according to the comments to Article 2.10 of the World Anti-Doping Code, athletes and other persons must not work with coaches, trainers, physicians or other athlete support personnel who are ineligible on account of an anti-doping rule violation or who have been criminally convicted or professionally disciplined in relation to doping. Violation of this requirement may result in imposing ineligibility of up to 2 years..
Commission on preliminary consideration of anti-doping rules violations of RAA RUSADA rendered the decision that made athlete Abbasova Lala (boxing) whose sample returned an Adverse Analytical Finding for furosemide (class S5 of the 2025 WADA Prohibited List) ineligible for 2 years for violation under cl. 4.1 and cl. 4.2 of the All-Russian Anti-Doping Rules, starting on the date of the decision, namely March 19, 2026, with credit for the served period of provisional suspension, namely from December 12, 2025.
