In accordance with the decision of Disciplinary Anti-Doping Committee of RUSADA No. 122/2022 dated June 30, 2022 (hereinafter — Decision of DADC of RUSADA), the athlete Kashirina Tatiana (hereinafter — Athlete) (weightlifting) had not committed a violation under cl. 2.2 «Use or Attempted Use by an Athlete of a Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method» of the All-Russian National Anti-Doping Rules approved by Order No. 307 of the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation dated April 13, 2011. The results management of this case was conducted within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) investigation.
On September 05, 2022 RUSADA filed a statement of appeal against the Decision of DADC of RUSADA to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Lausanne, Switzerland).
On October 14, 2022, the World Anti-Doping Agency (hereinafter — WADA) also filed a statement of appeal against the Decision of DADC of RUSADA to the CAS.
On August 28, 2023, RUSADA’s and WADA’s appeals were upheld and the Decision of DADC of RUSADA was set aside (CAS 2022/A/9128, CAS 2022/A/9217). The Athlete was found to have violated the anti-doping rules and was sanctioned with 8-years period of ineligibility, starting from the date of the decision, with credit for the served period of provisional suspension, namely between November 13, 2020 and June 30, 2022.
