Doping control of Russian athletes is conducted as planned, in accordance with the Risk Assessment for each sport and Test Distribution Plan.
The official RUSADA website published statistics for testing athletes in 2022: 11 053 doping samples were collected in 89 sports, including Paralympic sports. RUSADA conducts both in-competition and out-of-competition testing, the testing pools of RUSADA include about 1700 athletes. In addition, international agencies specializing in sample collection continue their work on the territory of the Russian Federation.
In addition to regular updates of statistics on RUSADA's website, all test information is entered into the Anti-Doping Administration and Management System (ADAMS) without delay, where authorized anti-doping organizations can see the results of RUSADA's work. In accordance with the transparency requirements for national anti-doping organizations, RUSADA annually publishes a report on the agency's activities on its official website.
According to the recently released WADA 2021 Report, RUSADA is in the top three national anti-doping organizations with the most samples collected. In September 2022, the WADA Audit Team were provided with information on every step of doping control, including all internal policies, procedures and statistics. The results of the audit showed that RUSADA's operational activities are conducted properly. Testing aimed at detecting anti-doping rule violations is conducted in accordance with the International Standards, and the measures to prevent violations (Educational Programs) were highly appreciated by the WADA Audit Team. The leadership of international sports federations and anti-doping organizations can rest assured that RUSADA monitors the cleanliness of sport in Russia at the highest level.
