From March 3 to 7, Bangkok will host the III Summit of Young Professionals in the field of sports, organized by the International Committee "Children of Asia" in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand. This summit will bring together young professionals aged 18-35 who work in sports in Asian countries.

Victoria Barinova, the Deputy Director General of RUSADA, will participate in the plenary session titled "Asia - the Territory of Children's Sports: Regional Cases" with a presentation on "Anti-Doping in Youth Sports".

The global anti-doping system is focused on the health of athletes, especially young athletes. The health and well-being of young athletes are crucial aspects that need to be given special attention in order to prevent anti-doping violations.

One of RUSADA's most significant educational programs targets young athletes and their families. For instance, the online course "Values of Sport" promotes values such as respect for the rules, honesty, teamwork, and ethical behavior in sports. These values not only shape the character of young athletes but also reinforce the importance of clean and fair sport.

Victoria Barinova noted: "Education is the foundation of an effective strategy to prevent doping violations. It's essential to ensure widespread access to anti-doping education while considering age-appropriate content and potential risks so that young athletes can achieve their full potential while adhering to the principles of fair play and clean sport."

The Summit participants agreed that there is a need for joint efforts to promote the development of children's sports in the region. They discussed concrete steps and strategies to improve infrastructure and create conditions for the growth of talented athletes who could become part of national teams in the future.
