RUSADA will hold the second online conference “Scientific and practical aspects of anti-doping research”

In April 2024, the first scientific conference was held under the auspices of RUSADA. Over the course of two days, more than 90 participants researching various sciences in the field of anti-doping listened to 25 reports in an online format. The result of the conference was a collection of abstracts.

On March 18-19, 2024, RUSADA will host a second online conference titled "Scientific and Practical Aspects of Anti-Doping Research" in cooperation with Russian University of Sport "GTSOLIFK". Researchers in the field of anti-doping, graduate and undergraduate students are invited to participate as speakers or listeners. The Program Committee will select abstracts for publication in the conference proceedings and placement in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).

Sections and directions of the Conference:

Law

  • Problems of legal regulation of interaction between individuals in the anti-doping system
  • Problems of Implementation of Anti-Doping Legal Norms
  • Current problems and prospects for the legal development of anti-doping measures in Russia.

Sociology

  • The attitude to doping in the Russian Federation.
  • Factors influencing athlete's use of doping.
  • Improving measures to prevent doping in sports.
  • Methods of anti-doping culture formation in the sports community.
Chemistry, Medicine, Pharmacology
  • New methods for detecting prohibited substances and their metabolites.
  • Search for new biomarkers to determine the use of prohibited substances and methods.
  • The effect of prohibited substances on the athlete's body.
  • Features of the metabolism of prohibited substances in the human body.

Conference dates:

- Submission of abstracts: until March 7

- Selection of abstracts results: until March 11

- Registration of participants: until March 16

- Conference: March 18-19

The conference will be hosted on the Mirapolis Virtual Room platform.
