Rights and responsibilities of Athletes

Athletes’ rights when undergoing Sample Collection Session:
- Have a representative and if available, an interpreter;
- Maintain confidentiality;
- Request for a delay in reporting to the Doping Control Station for valid reasons (with ADO`s representative);
- Have additional information regarding Sample collection session;
- Include in the doping-control form their comments related to the procedure which they find relevant;
Request modifications as provided in Modifications for Athletes with disabilities.
- Athletes’ responsibilities when undergoing Sample Collection Session:
- After being notified the Athlete shall immediately proceed to the Doping Control Station;
- After accepting notification the Athlete is not allowed to use shower or toilets;
- Remain within direct observation of ADO`s representative at all times from the point of notification until the completion of the Sample collection procedure;
- Produce identification
- Comply with Sample collection procedures
