Scientific Research

Support of anti-doping research development is amongst WADA`s activities. The main objective of such research is to create innovative methods of doping use prevention, development of new advanced methods of prohibited substances detection.
RUSADA in line with the WADA Code (Article 19 ‘Science research’) initiates elaboration of Sociology Project targeted at doping use prevention in juvenile sport. Recently the number of young people committed to sport and physical culture has enormously increased, meanwhile cases of doping detection in youth and juvenile sport have become more frequent. The research will address psychological and behavioral aspects of doping use inclination.
